You can access your previous year’s tax return through the IRS website or via the Chime app if you filed through Chime. You will often need a copy of your prior-year return when filing current taxes or confirming information like Adjusted Gross Income (AGI).
Access through the IRS
Go to IRS.gov
Select Get your tax record.
Follow the prompts to view or download your prior year’s tax return.
Access through the Chime app
If you filed your taxes through Chime last year:
Scroll down to the bottom of the Home screen.
Under the Discover more section, tap Taxes.
Under Manage, tap Tax Documents.
Tap Tax Filing to access our tax filling partner’s page.
Notes:
Depending on your tax filing partner, you may not be able to view your documents in the app. If you don’t see your documents, access them directly through the IRS website.
You can find your Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) listed on your tax return under “Adjusted Gross Income” (Form 1040, Line 11).
