Can I use my Chime account with third-party apps?

You can use your Chime account with third-party apps, such as Cash App®, PayPal®, and Venmo®. These apps typically allow you to connect your Chime account using either your debit card information or your routing and account numbers. 

While many third-party apps support Chime, functionality may vary. If you experience issues, we recommend contacting the third-party provider directly.

Note: Chime does not support transfers with Zelle®.

To use your Chime account with third-party apps:

  1. Tap Move.

  2. Tap Use Cash App®, Venmo®, PayPal®.

  3. Take note of your Chime Visa®Debit Card details to link your account, or tap Use routing & account numbers instead.

  4. Enter your debit card or account information into the third-party app.

  5. When you’re ready to send money from your Chime account, initiate the transfer from the third-party app.

If your account isn’t accepted, check with the third-party provider to confirm supported payment methods.
