Can I use MyPay® with my Chime Card?

When requesting a MyPay® advance from the Chime mobile app, it will automatically be swept to your secured deposit account (SDA).

  1. The amount you advanced during the pay period, regardless of which account you transferred it to, plus any fees you incurred ($2 per instant advance), will still be deducted from your Chime Checking account to repay your outstanding MyPay balance when you receive your next direct deposit from an eligible source.
Chime Card is a secured credit card. Credit limits are based on the amount moved into the secured deposit account. MyPay advances are not reported to credit bureaus. However, your Chime Card balance is reported, which can impact your credit history*.

*On-time payment history can have a positive impact on your credit score. Late payment may negatively impact your credit score. Chime will report your activities to Transunion®, Experian®, and Equifax®. Impact on your credit may vary, as Credit scores are independently determined by credit bureaus based on a number of factors including the financial decisions you make with other financial services organizations.
