Why are my SpotMeĀ® Boosts not working?

SpotMe Boosts let you temporarily increase a friend's SpotMe limit. They're a great way to help someone out, but there are a few important things to know if you're running into issues.

Common reasons a SpotMe Boost might not work:

You’ve already used your monthly boosts
You can only send a limited number of boosts per calendar month. Once you’ve sent it all, you’ll need to wait until next month to send more.

Your friend has already received a boost from you this month Ā
You can only send one boost to the same friend in a month.

Boosts reset at the end of each month
There’s a short window during the monthly reset when boosts may be temporarily unavailable. If you're seeing issues right at the start of a new month, try again a little later.

You have an outstanding SpotMe balance

If you still owe money from previous SpotMe transactions—including amounts covered by last month’s boosts—any new boosts you receive this month won’t increase your available SpotMe limit until you repay what you owe. To use your new boosts, you’ll need to pay off your outstanding SpotMe balance first.

Boosts can’t be undone
Once you send a boost, it's final. If it was sent to the wrong person or by mistake, there’s no way to get it back. You’ll need to wait for your limit to reset next month.
