Spending Insights help you understand where your money goes by breaking down your expenses by category, merchant, and month. You can use Insights to track trends over time, spot unusual activity, and manage your budget more effectively.
To access Spending Insights:
Tap your balance on the Home screen
Tap Insights.
You can also link an external account to include additional spending. Refer to How do I link or unlink an external account to my Spending Insights? for more information.
Categories
Categories organize your purchases so you can quickly see where your money goes. Common categories include Food & Drinks, Shopping, and Utilities. These are known as parent categories and give you a high-level view of your spending.
Each parent category can be broken down into child categories for more detail. For example, Food & Drinks might include:
Groceries
Restaurants
Coffee Shops
This helps you track not just how much you spend on food overall, but exactly where—like on weekly groceries or takeout meals.
Top
This section shows the merchants where you’ve spent the most for the selected month. It starts with the merchant with the highest spend and lists others below in order.
Bills
The Bills view shows a list of recurring bills for the selected month. You can:
Add missing bills by tapping the + icon in the upper right corner.
Tap any bill to get more details.
Use the Bills Planner for a deeper view of your upcoming payments and Left to Spend. Refer to How do I manage my bills in Planner?
